Lucky to Be Loved in Paradise

If you asked any local to tell you their favorite thing about Hawaii, you’d notice that it’s challenge to answer with only one thing.  From its beaches to each valley, there’s so many aspects that make it amazing.  Not to mention, the warm, tropical weather allows so many unique native species to flourish.  However, there are times when we take these things for granted and forget how beautiful our islands really are.  Through the use of various native flowers, Rowena & Greg’s wedding at Dillingham Ranch reminded us about why we are so fortunate to be living in paradise.

As always, Roy Nuesca didn’t miss a moment and captured all the love and happiness shared between the couple and their guests.

Unlike your traditional bouquet of roses or peonies, Pamakane of Ocean Dreamer Florals worked her magic and incorporated various native flowers such as Hibiscus, Ginger, Heliconias, Bird of Paradise, and Anthuriums (to name a few). The contrast of the floral’s fiery reds and oranges contrasted SO WELL with the bridesmaids’ darker green dresses. Even the groomsmen looked dapper with their Maile leis.

Like any good wedding, champagne was served and could be enjoyed in our lounge area.

This wedding got intimate with a low seated dining area for its guests. Don’t worry, we set up our textile rugs and pillows beforehand to make sure everyone was comfy! Ocean Dreamer Florals remained consistent and put together stunning centerpieces!

And of course, the bride and groom were saved a special seat to enjoy their first meal as husband and wife together!

I don’t know about you, but I can definitely say, “lucky we live Hawaii”… but let’s face it, being loved in Hawaii makes it even better.

xoxo,

Marina
