It’s officially May, which if this were a typical year that followed real estate trends from the past, meant this month is one of the biggest for overall transactions. The month of May is ideal for listing a home to sell, or buyers to find their forever home but why? And will it be during COVID-19?
If life were normal, May is the month school is out for a large chunk of schools (or kids would be out if a purchase closed in June), military PCS’ing begins, tax refunds are deposited, summer travel takes off etc. This brings not only a ton of competition in the real estate market, but also so much potential for selling or finding a home quicker…. just go into the process knowing you’ll need your negotiating hat on for battle.

We like to tell our clients, home staging is a like a loaf of bread. When it first comes out its hot and fresh. Everyone wants to come see it, touch it, smell it.
