Pantone's Color of the Year 2019: Living Coral
Pantone has announced its 2019 Color of the Year…. * drum roll please * … Living Coral- and we are totally in love! Living Coral is inspired by the ever-changing interactions between nature and technology (more specifically, social media) and the impact it has on our everyday lives. According to Pantone, Living Coral is a “fusion of modern life” as it “welcomes and encourages lighthearted activity.” Every year Pantone goes through the process of finding new sources of color inspiration in various industries such as entertainment, fashion, travel destinations, new technology, materials, and so on. So, doing what we do best, we’d like to share some design inspiration and ways that you can incorporate Living Coral into your space or event.
In spirit of the new year, we’d like to take a walk down memory lane and share you the lounge we created for this Waimea Valley wedding. We love adding a hit of color to your palette by utilizing accent pieces such as Kilim rugs and pillows. They’re also a great way to add some pattern and texture to your design.
