Relaxed Elopement on the North Shore
For some, a big elaborate wedding is the last thing people envision when it comes to tying the knot. Or maybe you have a huge family and the only way to avoid a 300 person event is to elope. When we put this shoot together, we knew it was for just that purpose. Inspiration for the couple to wants to run away and have a stress free experience that focuses on just them. What a better place to escape then on the North Shore of Oahu...
Loulu Palms Estate is a gorgeous property with beautifully landscaped gardens and a private slice of beach. Seriously, so many pinch me places to explore here where you'll feel like it's just you and your favorite person alone on the island and that's why it was the perfect setting for our elopement shoot.
As the planner and designer wearing my Bustle Events hat, I pulled together a vendor team that set the tone for such a romantic afternoon. The girls from Absolutely Loved Photography and I had fun dashing in and out the rain that day, but it allowed us to escape to the kitchen for a while and cottage turned out to be a sweet place to take some more intimate photos.
Details from Design House of Moira were just the right amount of elegant that still set the tone for a proper wedding, but with a pantsuit from Joelle Perry we kept things cool, comfortable, and casual. Enjoy escaping for a few moments as you scroll through the photos and see even more at our feature on Borrowed & Blue. We can't wait to do more elopements in the future!
